My love and I went on our first international trip this summer. Like many of our peers, we went to Europe, Portugal to be exact. Both of us are experienced travelers and have visited several ports all across the EU (and UK), but never Portugal. I knew very little about what to expect and found the country even better for it. From the ancient riverside cities with their colorful tiles to the picturesque seaside towns and all the mountainous land in between, this country did not disappoint.
